Technically all they have to do is anonymize you by disassociating your comments from your profile

There should be a way to encrypt things when the server is off and then have a Killswitch for situations like this. Idk if it'd be overkill in this case thougj

I would not overly praise old reddit like this. I agree that people were more open minded and willing to engage in substantive discussions, but old reddit was also hosting the likes of /r/jailbait, /r/coontown, /r/n*ggers. There's good and bad aspects.

There was a guy posting literal gifs of shit and also DMing them to people and somehow I still prefer it over reddit.

I'm talking like communities exclusive to an instance where only instance members can participate in. This would be great for communities like The Agora.
