This is incredibly common in SF. Many people live in co-ops and it's created an entire subculture where they coordinate large parties and events both within the co-op and with other co-ops. It's gone beyond necessity and become preferred by some because they enjoy living with lots of others. Not my thing, but many friends live in co-ops and love it.

There's a few rough areas such as Boston which is trash for FPS on all systems (I got like 35ish there on Deck), but it's easily remedied with mods. I run ~20 mods when playing "vanilla" and got a locked 50 FPS through an entire playthrough. The game makes sense to be Deck verified.
My city (San Francisco) has a program where you can elect to get 100% of your power from renewables which are primarily hydro, solar, and wind and it comes out cheaper every month than buying power from PG&E. It's pretty great.

Not that they're the same, but this feels like not letting people be strippers because some people may feel degraded by it. I could understand having legislation that provides protections for employees through employer obligations to ensure a safe environment, but ultimately it's the choice of the individual if they're okay with the work or not. I don't have a dog in this fight, but this feels like Chinese conservatism forcing "modesty" on women.
The 1.6 update completed the game extremely well. A lot of the quality of life stuff feels incredibly natural, and I'm loving the new farm so far. Especially since it's forcing me to >!focus on animals instead of Uber optimizing crops!<.
Even then buying and selling stocks, having a 401k, IRA, etc. doesn't even make it complicated. You just have to fill out a 1099-B/DIV/INT and then list your contributions to your retirement accounts.
I don't know why people pretend it's so hard. You spend 30 minutes every year answering a few questions and punching numbers into boxes from a few documents that are sent to you by your broker/bank/employer. It's also only $15 at FreeTaxUSA.
Opening the accounts you report to the IRS is arguably more difficult than filing them on your taxes.
I've noticed this too both in those around me and myself (mid 20s). I don't identify as queer and have always been "straight", but more recently the thought of sucking a trans girl's dick is kinda hot? I'm not attracted to guys at all, so it would have to be someone who is otherwise extremely feminine, but eh?
I don't know what to call it and I honestly don't really care to think about or try to label it because it's a worthless distinction. It helps that most of my friends are queer so I've had any and all stereotypes/expectations surrounding attraction completely shattered, and I've found this to be true of more people I meet over time who don't identify with queer culture at all. I'll be interested to see how this continues to change in the next 20 years.
I've become the primary maintainer of a jumbled mess of a PHP/Laravel project we use as our"mission control" at work and I've been dying due to lack of dev tools. Might have to take a look at this (pester my manager for a license) assuming it has Laravel support.

This has been the trend since early 2010. More and more games made by small companies are exploding and outselling AAA games. Stardew Valley had its all time peak 2 months ago despite being 8 years old, Dave the Diver popped off last year, Helldivers 2 broke records before Sony decided to fuck it up and subsequently get dragged through the mud, and Hades 2 is apparently awesome.
The slow death of AAA games has been great to watch. There's so much more variety than 5 years ago and you don't have to give your money to soulless corporations to enjoy them.
