I don't think bombing your entire probability space counts as statistical modeling. They're just layering their carpet bombing campaign with vaporware propaganda. They're using bombs that can level whole blocks in densely populated areas.

This didn't work the last time it occurred and I don't think the Saudis will want to risk their oil infrastructure and increase internal tensions this time around. Hopefully, this is more posturing and less human suffering.

It really is a tremendous injustice. Hopefully with global shifts in power they get some breathing space. The world would grow with a growing and prospering Cuba. They've had and have a lot to offer.
