They also have electric ones. They use a UV bulb and some titanium compound that releases CO2 when hit by UV, pretty neat and work decently once you interrupt the breeding cycle. Dynatrap is the popular brand I think.

I'm with you. While I've never been diagnosed as autistic, I do not pick up on social cue's ever. It's hard to explain how much better the world would seem (to me, at least) if people would just say what they mean. While being too forward could be misinterpreted as being rude, there is no room to miss a secret message when being direct.

Just wanted to say thanks for some awesome software! I want to say I use it for centralizing my bookmarks across devices, but if I'm being honest it's main use has been bookmarking Microsoft Learn articles. It's insanely useful being able to save an article, add tags, then when MS changes their docs, I can prove to myself that it really was different last week.

I had that same issue at one point. It seems to have gone away after I switched to Grayjay.

I'm guessing it was probably for the same reason he buried dinosaur bones all over the place... Or for the same reason he created trillions of stars billions of years before he felt like creating light earlier that week (or are stars actually a lot closer to get their light here so quickly after creation?)

Well stated. The thing bothers me is someone had a vision, they had an idea and a chance to present their work on a world stage. That is such a huge honor and a few people thought it was about them and shit all over the moment.

It feels even dirtier because OP bought a physical copy, that feels so much more like Adobe broke it at night and stole it.

Flossing and brushing like everyone said, but toothpaste matters I used to swear by the Sensidine with "Novamin" (Calcium sodium phosphosilicate), from what I understand it can actually repair minor damage (e.g. prevent a soft spot from becoming a cavity). Sadly last I checked there was some patient in the US preventing it from being sold here. I brought back a decent bit when I moved back from the UK, but its all gone now. Amazon.co.uk or Boots.co.uk may ship it (but then it becomes legally questionable, I don't know how close stuff like that is watched for at customs).

Cats can be taught how to do stuff, and if there is the right bond, they'll do the action when you ask. I say that because I've known a lot of people with cats that could do "tricks" (e.g. a friend had a cat that would go fetch his backscratcher after work because the cat LOVED that scratcher and knew it meant something positive to the cat.).

By contrast I know a few people with crazy cats and its almost like you (as an outside observer) can see the tension and dislike for each other radiating from both the cat and person. Most of the people with crazy cats only really seem to feed them and clean up after them. The people with awesome cats always seem to do more with them (playing, cuddling, etc), they just seem to have a better relationship with each other.

I, like many, will have to disagree. This is just my personal opinion though.

One of our cats we let out whenever she wants, she desires being outside and I can't seem to steal that freedom from her. I know it's more dangerous outside, but she was a stray for the first couple years of her life and is probably more aware of the dangers than most people. Now she mainly just sleeps in a chair on our porch watching birds.

Our other kitty has always had a home and loves outside, but only goes out on a leash (before her I honestly didn't think a cat would use a leash).

I host way more than I probably should, but everyone should have some stuff like immich, vaultwarden, and nextcloud. I also like to host gitea and 30+ other things (check out netboot.xyz, it isn't something everyone needs but why wouldn't you want to be able to boot off the network), but that's just what some people do as a hobby I guess lol.
