Like, could you imagine this article ending on a 'dont touch this dumpster fire of a stock' line? Conde nast would not allow that.
The article was so glowing at the end it almost swayed me until that realization

4chan is a wholly different type of site. It's an image board, not about link sharing. Use of screen names is discouraged.
Also why would you go to a site labelled the asshole of the Internet if you're looking for actual discussion and conversation. If you want porn or want nazi-adjacent discussion or great wallpapers, sure, go there.

Look up the piece by pbs and by John Oliver. They also do a cocoa bean tracking system so they know where the beans are coming from. This is importa t to know that the beans are coming from the good farms and not from the bad ones. All that being said, they say they can't say slavery free due to how bad it is in that area. They can't guarantee that.
I think for me it's as simple as - do I go with the brand that seems to be doing something about it? Or go with the brand that misses it's own targets and is satisfied with the horrible status quo

@schamppu a friend is running a marathon this weekend. Any chance they can get into beta by then?

You can get jelly that's a lot less sugar than the cheap stuff. As for kids - I'm a firm believer in letting kids butch and moan for a few days and after that they get used to it and eat it. Just take the time investment to save yourself some hassle later on. Or tell them to make their own.

That's a purposeful choice to show that not everyone gets an equal piece. Some start out with a giant piece and others get just a tiny one.

One of the few brands actually taking concrete steps about child slavery on cocoa farms. They have had pieces on them done by pbs and I think 60 mins.

  • Muffins/Swiss rolls - depends on how much it is but I get it being a quick comfort food. However, check if there's a bakery of some kind (including
Chinese / Latino bakeries) near you. It's nearly as cheap or cheaper and much fresher. Good bread there too.
  • Pasta sauce: my wife actually just makes a Alfredo sauce from scratch and it seems to be just a bit more complicated than Mac and cheese sauce. Flour, milk, and cheese. Probably a lot more cost effective.
  • Instead of a red tomato sauce I would buy diced tomatoes ( or those fire riasted ones) and dump them over noodles. It tastes better than the bottled red sauce.
  • Mac and cheese: see above - but also, if you're going to get it, get the box. The single serve things are worse than the generic box Mac.
-froze spinach is great. Try throwing that in whatever you're cooking. Never goes bad. Already bite sized.
-Also, you gotta report that grocery store. Cats are friends not food.

Put your entire savings in. Then open up a few credit cards and take out as much cash of them as possible. Put it all into one stock. Then be confident that you're smarter than everyone else and will sell at just the right moment, and much smarter than the people shorting the stock.

Micro plastic stew

Magical accidents. Potions. Demon summoning accidents.
Hitman already ventures into the absurd and this would just be one more step.

Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell told reporters that he’s “fine,” after freezing during a news conference on Wednesday.

I had a tire that needed air in my tire, so I went to the gas station with my EV and got some in there.
That's great for now, but what happens in several years when the number of Gas stations declines? Gas stations have been great resources for air, bathrooms, and snacks on road trips. What is going to replace it?

The game was one of the first to really try to allow players to talk to characters using natural language, and given the amount of dialogue in the game (wikipedia says 16 hrs worth) there's probably enough there to train an AI on and enough to do voice cloning as well.
