I was diagnosed 10 years ago via a neuro-psych assessment. It wasn’t cheap but I wanted to assess for other areas of needs, such as short term memory retention. The assessment included an interview followed by several hours of structured testing.

These days, I believe there are quicker ways to test specifically for ADHD via a limited set of questions. A psychiatrist can certainly do this but most primary care physicians should also be able to as well. Depending on where you live, access to psychiatry might be limited and your primary care physician may be the one to manage your meds (if warranted) in any event. A psychologist may be able to diagnose ADHD but can’t offer medication options.

Re: learning disability/dyslexia, the neuro-psych testing can identify these issues. There may be simpler, more cost effective methods to identify these or other deficits. If you potentially need accommodations in the workplace, they may require some proof of assessment.

Hope that helps.

Lol. My first 25 events with mine - 1 red finch, 1 cardinal, 23 of the same black squirrel. And for the record, it ignored the alarm feature by the third attempt.

I may be reading it wrong but it appears mods will only enforce one rule: every post must somehow relate to iOS. “Hey, here’s a pic of John Oliver from my iOS device.” Is fair game. It will be up to admins, not mods to enforce site-wide rules. This is going to be interesting.

Thanks…I thought it was something altogether different.

Apollo was excellent. Still can't figure out how one very clever chap (Christian) could smoke the official Reddit App. Surely out of the 2K employees at Reddit, there must have been a small dev team dedicated to it.

BTW, could you share how to get the kbin PWA going? I signed up and used kbin on the iPhone and, while ok in Safari, it has some challenges. Desktop is quite nice actually.

Like any early adopter, I'm here for the potential.

Bingo. Some of the alternatives are relatively new. Focusing on potential is exactly the right approach. This is not Reddit, nor should it try to be. Focusing on the engagement is refreshing and mobile apps will come and grow eventually. I'll miss Apollo for sure but so far, I'm likely the experience here.

I really respect the admins for keeping things going during the influx.
