I feel like Linux is good for power users or users like your grandfather who are not very tech savvy. The issues arise with users savvy enough to get themselves into trouble but not enough to understand how to fix it or how to do a slightly more advanced task.

What about contracting a terminal illness like cancer where you might not be able to work. You need a job to keep your healthcare but if an illness or disability that you have or get at some point stops you from working and you need to pay for that healthcare, what do you do?

TL:DR what does this mean?

"I'm JD Vance I'm running for vice president," Vance said. "Good to see you."

The employee sounds unmoved and replies with "okay" and waits for him to begin his order.

Does he expect people to get down on their knees after he tells them that?

To be fair it’s “made simple” not “made easy”

If you know all your passwords and can’t forget them, I’m assuming your using some sort of pattern to remember them in which case you have a major issue in case of data breaches as your other passwords can be guessed.

I haven’t used archivebox, but I tried setting it up. And I will say linkwarden gets a lot of points for easy setup and use. I’m sure it’s probably not as powerful as archive box but it gets the job done for basic use.

Disclaimer I don’t have one, but seems like 2-4 weeks between charges.

I think this will be a hard sell unless you’re already all into the Apple eco system and don’t need access from other devices. Or you don’t use any password manager already.

I had a lady I was helping with tech support ask me about her lightbulbs. I just told her I didn’t know the answer. She said “well you should know, it’s electronic.”

Does anyone know of any software that encrypts some information and only releases the encryption key once a certain amount of time has passed? Or anything remotely similar? Was having trouble finding the right words to search for this.

I’ve used Arch, Pop_OS for gaming in the past, was looking for a distro that just works and doesn’t have any extra fluff or do anything nonstandard. (For example I don’t like that some programs will only update through the pop shop on pop os and not through the terminal.)
