I'd be curious to understand what Qwant brings extra to the table compared to DDG. Backend is the same, results seem quite similar and it's missing some things like math and conversion quick tools.

Congrats on the most ignorant comment on this side of the server. Not only did you achieve this once, you continued to show your ignorance in a whole thread of discussion. Incredible.

Windows 10.

Thankfully the bugs have not been major. Stuff like an NPC going through a floor, a door not opening or a stolen car disappearing while I was in it. Visual glitches are numerous, like things popping in or disappearing as I get near them. Crashing has been less frequent since disabling RTX, but still happen occasionally. I use them as a good excuse to stop playing.

I still love this story and setting. Like I said, I dream about what could have been.

Nobody really knows for sure. It just sort of disappeared one day with no warning.

Cyberpunk 2077. I think I'm close to the end, finishing the side quests that have any substance to them and then the main story and I want more.

Between all the bugs, the glitching and the crashing, I should have been sick of it by now, but there's something about this setting and story that is just so gripping.

Can't stop thinking about what could have been if it lived up at least partially to the expectations.

I've found my last 3 jobs on there. It depends on your role and area, but I much prefer it to classic trash ad sites.

I've tried the no JavaScript experience for a couple of months, but honestly it breaks to much of the internet for it to be a solution for most people. For me personally it was a worse experience than just having it fully enabled.

This is the way. It's developed by some people from a Danish university and it's really trying to navigate the shitty popups and find that decline button. Best add-on I have next to ublock.

I changed from a OnePlus 6t to a Samsung S23+ after about 4 years of using the old one and at least for me the difference is huge. Both are flagships in their own time. The oneplus was starting to feel a bit laggy here and there, but I never expected the S23+ to be all around so snappy in comparison. Camera quality is leagues ahead. The battery life is way better. The fingerprint sensor was never good on the oneplus, but it's amazing on the Samsung. There are many other features I like or find useful like the wireless charging or the water resistance. The new phone is an all around better package for me and a surprisingly decent upgrade.

You definitely don't need to upgrade every 2 years and it probably matters what you expect out of a phone and how patient you are with the issues, but I think new phones do still offer compelling reasons to upgrade, just not as often as in the past.
