Don't worry, I sold it off. And we both knew it was loaded with Thorium. Easiest $5 made.

It's so confusing. I installed Manjaro (caused the mindset) and then Endeavour (pushed me farther).

Exactly. "Bio energy".

Luckily, I didn't buy it to wear. And I can confirm it's not a "cool rock".

I bought it for a friend. And it was labeled as "bio energy" on AliExpress.

I used it due to the fact it was really my only option. It is completely usable, give or take 3 or 4 issues (screen border issues, home buttons, and battery charging indicator). Although, it is slow, due to the nature of the device's age and pricing (2015 midrange tablet), so if you do plan on daily driving PMOS, make sure you use it on a device that has a processor better than a Snapdragon 410 like the OnePlus 6/6T. I also recommend the OnePlus 6/6T if you change your mind about PMOS as it has an Ubuntu Touch and a Mobian variant. There's also LineageOS if you don't like Linux.

So it took me way too long to figure it out, and I had the tablet lying around. The tablet is a SM-T550, make sure to install Heimdall's GUI and get the certain file, and then the instructions are really straight forward. Sorry if the instructions aren't super clear, I did do it a while ago and I remember lk2nd was a pain to install. The wiki stuff: https://wiki.postmarketos.org/wiki/Samsung_Galaxy_Tab_A_9.7_2015_(samsung-gt510) Edit: realized you asked about functionality. Stock home buttons don't work on any of the DEs I've tried, the screen sometimes has a little freakout so don't use it if you're epileptic, the battery percentage sometimes works, and it's slow (depending on your tasks) but usable. It can play a YouTube video in 480p without too many issues. It is a good option if you have only $50 and want to run PMOS on a tablet.

Isn't great since the camera that was used got ruined by cheap MagSafe, but I'll probably retake some of the photos. Worth staying up way late for.
