It didnt? I've tried it once before, there was no prompt and then the graphics started glitching, so I reinstalled the old one, there was no prompt again, and now the system is saying there's not nvidia GPU driver

I'm trying to update some nvidia drivers, and when I install them I set a password for secure boot, when do I put in the password to finish secure boot?

I've been cooking some slow recipies that need a lot of heat (a lot of boiling water and slow stewing) under the kitchen fan, and the smell has greatly dissipated, it looks like the smoke was not a really big problem.

I've already used this hot plate regularly for about 2-3 months already. If this is burning off some other residue, how can I get the smell to go away faster?

The orange tape bit on the top is actually connected to a light that turns on when the heating coil is on. One of the elements is a power switch, the other is a temperature regulator.

Looking into the wires, I couldn't find a third wire, so it probably doesn't have a ground, even though it does have a 3 prong NA design.

Looks the same on the other side, the pattern on the unburnt metal looks like galvanized steel, did the zinc burn off?

Is this hot plate damaged? (lemmy.blahaj.zone)

I was cooking some food when I noticed a burning plastic smell and some smoke coming out of the knob, I let it cool down, and when I turned it back on, there wasn't any smoke but the burning smell returned, is the plate damaged, or is it some stuck food being burned?

The burning plastic smell seems to be coming from the plate, even when it is dissassembled like this, i can smell it from the centre.

Thats a modified version, it says using unmodified ChatGPT results in 17% worse scores

I recently dual booted linux mint on my laptop, and I came across the infinite squashfs error (an infinite amount of "SQUASHFS error: Unable to read page" and "SQUASHFS error: Unable to read data counting up, I think because I took out the usb and pressed enter too quickly) I couldn't do anything, so I shut down and restarted, upon restart, its running fine? No corruption.

Edit: I reinstalled and waited a while after unplugging before and enter did not work, I hit escape and this happened again, though text is bigger and slower

I'm considering switching to linux but I'm not a computer savvy person, so I wanted to have the option to switch back to windows if unforeseen complications (I only have 1 pc). Is it just a download on usb and install? And what ways can I get the product key or "cleaner" debloated versions.
