I am not exactly super good with money to be honest, recently I bought like full set of apple pro devices and now I am thinking how to get liquidity for UV skincare and clothes, I desperately need clothes, and body laser and several plastic surgeries and… yeah.
But I learned something from all these sprees I hope. It’s that I am not rich and shouldn’t behave like I am. I may be slightly stupid tho, in an adhd way.

Wow I am glad I only lost 10k and called it expensive stock market crash course. Apparently minute trading is not that easy

And that person is waiting for recovery, classic move. Next phase is trying to win it all back

I am so glad I got this lesson before the inheritance, I would 100% do something similar

I have five browsers and couple vpns and some extras that I have mix matched to create sort of tier system depending on how legal is the activity I partake in.

Most illegal though you have to physically relocate to some unprotected hotspot by car

Yeah but the scale is bigger and we could be doing something worthwhile with all these finite resources it makes me a bit dizzy

So you want to tell me they all spent billions and made huge data centres that suck more power than small country so we can all play with it, generate some cringy smut and then toss it away?

This is kinda insane if that’s how it will play out

Fallout was so on point, only a lot of distance and humour makes it not outright painful or scary knowing the damn nukes will be popping sooner or later one just doesn’t know if tomorrow or in 80 years. The question is not if but when

It isn’t built-in in the very phone operating system where you just tap on generate response in the iMessage. It is always about laziness. First the privacy went away due to path of least effort even though you always had tons of privacy alternatives but they require just 10 seconds of extra effort

I have just read the features of iOS 18.1 Apple intelligence so called.
TLDR: typing and sending messages for you mostly like one click reply to email. Or… shifting text tone 🙄

So that confirms my fears that in the future bots will communicate with each other instead of us. Which is madness. I want to talk to a real human and not a bot that translates what the human wanted to say approximately around 75% accuracy devoid of any authenticity

If I see someone’s unfiltered written word I can infer their emotions, feelings what kind of state they are in etc. Cold bot to bot speech would truly fuck up society in unpredictable ways undermining fundaments of communication.

Especially if you notice that most communication, even familial already happens online nowadays. So kids will learn to just ‘hey siri tell my mom I am sorry and I will improve myself’.
Mom: ‘hey siri summarize message’

I wouldn’t rely on LLM to read anything for you that matters. Maybe it will do ok nine out of ten times but when it fails you won’t even know until it is too late.

What if Eula itself was chat gpt generated from another chat generated output from another etc.. madness. Such Eula will be pure garbage suddenly and cutting costs no one will even notice relying on ai so much until it’s all fubar

So sure it will initially seem like a helpful tool, make key points from this text that was generated by someone from some other key points extracted by gpt but the mistakes will multiply in each iteration.

Yeah if we applied modern politics to corporations I think a lot of solid bbq could come out of it.

We need to start to shit on exxon like we shit on republicans

The problem with this is that effectively you aren’t speaking anymore, the bot does for you. And if on the other side someone does not read anymore (the bot does it for them) then we are in very bizarre situation where all sorts of crazy shit starts to happen that never did.
You will ‚say’ something you didn’t mean at all, they will ‚read’ something that wasn’t there. The very language, communication collapses.

If everyone relies on it this will lead to total paralysis of society because the tool is flawed but in such a way that is not immediately apparent until it is everywhere, processes its own output and chokes on the garbage it produces.

It wouldn’t be so bad if it was immediately apparent but it seems so helpful and nice what can go wrong
