Another facet (at least specifically in America) is to de-stigmatize discussing personal income among the working class. We’ve been melt-brained hard to think it’s as private and taboo as discussing one’s most deep and darkest sexual kinks when really it’s just a tool of the owners to keep workers indentured in the wage-slave economy.

Good, let the people who live there live there.

I’ve been replaying and somewhat enjoying Fallout 4 recently too and all I can say is Bethesda made a very good (and janky) video game back in 2003 and managed to reskin it into 5 different games over the past 20 years fairly well—only blatantly showed its age with Starfield because they removed all the (now out of date) modernizations introduced in Fallout 4. I will not buy The Elder Scrolls VI if that ever comes to market.

Just throwing it out there if you haven’t played it, The Outer Worlds hits all the fallout notes in a tighter package (also made by obsidian who made New Vegas)

I didn’t lose my patience but it did make me think of a tale. I was once asked by a coworker to see if they were visible in a zoom event they were attending (goofy concern to begin with since they had left their desk to come to me to ask). Upon return to their cube, with the meeting still ongoing I pointed out that no, they weren’t visible or audible in the meeting because they didn’t have a webcam. This was during the “return to office” phase of the pandemic and our in-office stuff was decidedly pre-pandemic so none of the workstations were equipped with videoconferencing equipment.

I’m not even IT staff.

it’s just as sweet as normal sugar so either it’s your own personal placebo affect or your not getting the sugar dissolved into whatever drinks you’re using it in.

Look, the investors need their hard-eared returns so corners must be cut everywhere else. It is wholly acceptable if 1000 planes fall out of the sky if it means one more golden toilet seat be installed on a yacht that is never boarded. It is worth 5000 customer deaths if it means the baron’s bath of balsamic vinaigrette be filled for a day, that he might submerge therein after murderizing a few courtesans.

Don’t got not other social to complain on so here I am: I really am hating the on-foot radio. I honestly find most of the radio music in the game to be kinda annoying and I’m really annoyed that I have to manually turn it off now every single time I exit a vehicle. I like it when driving, I like it when its on a physical diegetic source in the game (like when there’s a radio turned on on a table in a scav den) but now having to just have the radio all or nothing is honestly just annoying. I wish they had implemented a way to toggle this option in the game settings (if there is and I haven’t found it PLEASE let me know).

anyone else feeling this way? I am honestly kinda confused that this was an addition. I’d think car customization was a bigger community ask than “having a constant stream of generally annoying music” was big on the list.

Why would the devs do this to V?
