Yes, and egg prices.

in my opinion, at this point of history, FAST is inherently detrimental. Only those with privilege and resources are able to adapt to rapid changes and reap their benefits, while the rest are left behind.

Things like requesting for emotional value in a serious conversation is such an unsophisticated tactic in arguments, just hard to believe it’s planned by a long time blogger and book writer who should be good at words.

His base doesn’t care. Maybe average people in US are having such a good life that they can ignore this and continue to get food on the table for their kids.

not so much for America

Not necessarily, a more equal world and no-longer-exceptional America would give more common people an opportunity to better see the weakness in the political and redistribution system, and creating opportunities for fundamental change. That can be a painful process but for the long term good.

The genius of CUvsFEC is they basically made it sure there’s no way back. If a legislator dare to revert this, they will be out-raised and voted out.

Thanks for sharing this experience.

One mistake of East Germany (and Russia and China) was that their basic education is not that bad so people are able to figure out things don’t add up. America might be immune to this issue as it’s advancing to authoritarian.

Plus there are ultra rich class to assist and fine tune the brainwash technology to micro targeting each individual ( the “self selected“ influencers are not selected by yourself after all)
