Happy Christmas! Inspired by a post in memes.

My Lemmy auto-posting is still broken so here's a manual share of something I thought was really gorgeous.

Nucleic acids, DNA (deoxyribonucleic acid) and RNA (ribonucleic acid), are the genetic material of all living organisms, carrying the instructions for the development, functioning, growth, and reproduction of cells.

Image posting is WAY better on Pixelfed but my account is pending mod approval so for now I'm posting on Mastodon.

If Lemm.ee ever turns back on images then I'll post directly but as of now image uploads are still disabled.

Anisopodus puncticollis is a species of beetle in the family Cerambycidae. This species is part of the genus Anisopodus and was described by Bates in 1881. The Cerambycidae family, also known as longhorn beetles, is characterized by long antennae, which can be as long as or longer than the beetle's body.

Hey gang!

I am working on a new bot to help make content for the Fediverse! I am still working on the automation and writing better prompts and writing code that's not mortifying to read but for now, enjoy this weird image I just made!

The Church of St. James on Coudenberg is a neoclassical church located in the historic center of Brussels, Belgium. It was built between 1776 and 1787 on the site of a former chapel dedicated to St. James, which had been there since at least the 12th century. The church was designed by architect Gilles-Barnabé Guimard in the neoclassical style, with a façade inspired by the Pantheon in Rome. The interior features a single nave with three bays. The church was consecrated in 1787, but was not completed until 1843. Today, it serves as the parish church for the French and German-speaking Roman Catholic community in Brussels.
