The age gap might make a relationship difficult, but it's not wrong. Just make sure you have clear open communication and understand each other's expectations. You're both adults.

It's still in very early stages of development. I haven't tested it yet, but it's worth keeping an eye on

The neo applications team is working on a digital wellbeing replacement, but it's still in alpha Neo Wellbeing

These links take me to the home page of the instance in a browser. How can I find communities in the instance and follow them in my Lemmy app (I use connect)?

Try Julia, it has both

What does AdAway do differently for root users?

[–] Cycadophyta@lemmy.cafe 2 points 1 year ago (1 children)

I recently switched to AdAway from AdGuard. More ads seem to get through in apps, but combined with unlock in Firefox websites are completely clean.

Sweet! Just installed. How does it compare to adguard?

[–] Cycadophyta@lemmy.cafe 1 points 1 year ago

That's good to know. Perhaps I will start using wireguard for direct connections

Have you tried tailscale? It uses wireguard under the hood, but is much easier to connect multiple devices.

Is there a good way to self host a federated service at home without port forwarding? Is it possible to use cloudflare tunnels or tailscale funnel and still connect to the federation?
