What I mean is that the first generation immigrants who were granted permanent residency or citizenship should be treated the same way as multiple generation citizens
Are they not, in your country?

Please no.
Urban sprawl is terrible for the environment. We should never build another city, ever, globally.
Europeans never understand why houses are made out of "flimsy" materials in the US.
The simple answer is that your brick and mortar houses would also be completely destroyed by a hurricane or tornado or earthquake.
They're just way more expensive and take longer to rebuild.
The scale of natural disasters in the US is and always has been such that we expect buildings to be demolished by nature from time to time. Europe is a very stable place. The US is not.
So why not teach people about it, instead of promoting VPNs?
Ok then, in the meantime the rest of us will use a fucking VPN? I don't know what "encrypted DNS" means, and I'm 99% you're going to respond with either "whaaaaat you don't know something that 99.999% of other people also don't know? Clearly you are too dumb for the internet" or else "oh sure I'd be glad to explain that! It's real simple, see when you have a Rosendin gembal, it befrazzles the gesticulators of your brangles (link to a Wikipedia article on brangles). So you just have to re-delineate the scanditrons to break the tensor lines in your scintrins! You can code a fairly simple app from scratch to do it, and there's a FOSS program someone made to help you identify the cabangs in your computer's lenticles: (link to a github page that is literally just a transcription of an eldritch god screaming in binary)"
VPNs are extremely user friendly and they are happy to explain in layman's terms exactly what they do and how they work. If there's a better way, it's locked behind years of techie knowledge.
That doesn't make any sense. Why are there gaps in the huge disabled-access stall doors then?
And it fucking SUCKS in the beginning, because for a very long time it keeps getting wiped out by emergencies. But the more emergencies you weather, eventually the fewer you'll have, and your buffer will grow.
Emergency funds are the most important tool for financial stability (after securing a living wage).
The point is it's bullshit that's not available on the Lowes website.
I have a rule of thumb for financial stability.
Level 1 - just buy groceries and pay for them without stressing
Level 2 - don't worry about when payday hits
Level 3 - don't worry about getting laid off
Add the 1% there. Generational wealth people. Private jets, multiple mansion homes, etc. They're far above the upper class. Totally different plane of existence from everyone else.
I'm paid by the hour, I don't care
There's several municipally owned ones too. Like Silicon Valley Power.
You want a realistic solution or a "if I had one wish" solution?
If every US Republican were to die of a heart attack right now, that would probably be the single greatest thing that could happen to our planet right now.
