I think !support@lemm.ee would be more appropriate for this post, but I already posted there 2 days ago with no answer.

Thanks for the info!

I crossposted this to (what I considered) the relevant communities, where I added that as an edit.

From what I see:

  • feddit.de is on BE: 0.19.1
  • lemm.ee is on BE: 0.19.1-rc.1

I don't know in which version was the bug fixed.

EDIT: From a comment by @Fleppensteijn@feddit.nl in the original post:

I’m getting a LemmyAPIException when I try to upvote since yesterday. Now I notice I’m getting the same error when I try to post from the app.

EDIT-2: Another comment by @maegul@lemmy.ml:

the question then becomes when the last post was made to apocalyptic art. From my quick glance it was 4 days ago on the lemmy.ml mirror, which seems behind the most recent posts on the actual community. Lemmy.ml is on the newest version.

So my guess is that there’s some general federation issue, possibly on the feddit.de end, which is causing some things to get dropped.

Sudden decrease in votes on apocalypticart@feddit.de after 0.19 upgrade

This is the chart of the votes for the latest posts on !apocalypticart@feddit.de.

This may be just a coincidence, but I find a bit weird that the votes went down to almost zero exactly when lemm.ee[^3] and feddit.de[^4] upgraded to v0.19.

AFAIK, they are used as relays.

From https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/1-bit_computing#1-bit

Computers and microcomputers may also be used, but they tend to overcomplicate the task and often require highly trained personnel to develop and maintain the system. A simpler device, designed to operate on inputs and outputs one-at-a-time and configured to resemble a relay system, was introduced. These devices became known to the controls industry as programmable logic controllers (PLC).

Travel to the Stars, was the article in Science Digest ,1983, that I did this cover art for. Original art is for sale.

I had the pleasure of connecting with the guys in Wolf Club for the second time to develop cover art for their latest album, Frontiers. We all agreed on paying homage to the great Nilton Ramalho and his work for Pepsi back in the 90s.

Wolf Club are always an absolute pleasure to work with, big thanks to NewRetroWave for making this wonderful project happen.
