While you're not wrong, it's not the right attitude.

I donate to Mozilla every year. It's not chump change either. It's the largest donation I make to an open source project. They are listed as beneficiaries in my will. When I make my donation this year, I'm going to tell them that they risk my next donation going elsewhere if they keep the path they are on.

The web is quickly becoming enshittified and we, users, have some say in this.

The Linux kernel is self supported without ads and many distros are able to make releases without ads. A browser that is our direct connection to each other and the world should be no different.

Librewolf is probably the best candidate but they rely on Firefox to continue developing. Maybe it's time to focus on Librewolf and try to get it working with Firefox.

It has more to do with the fact that they are migratory birds. The egg thing is a carve out specifically for them due to their shittiness and that's literal.

Don't be intimidated though. If you're not regularly exercising, start with a smaller goal And increase at a rate you're comfortable with. Walking is a great activity and is great for your body and easier on your knees than running.

The point is to do more than you are now.

Yeah....I suspect the Antarctic treaty is going to go away as soon as people discover resources on the continent.

The biggest issue for me is when neighbors rake their leaves and my leaves blow over to them. I feel terrible about it.

Short term is all that matters. Did the line go up this quarter? Then they're good.

Killing the product is the future CEOs problem.

This 1000% because you know for fuck sure that some dev in the corner of a building that's going to be the last holdout.

Start planning now with an implementation plan to complete a few months before the contract is set to expire. Plans like these often hit bumps and delays.

Once you're down to the last 5%, tell them "Join or Die".

The difference is that Hitler did it to solidify power within himself.

Biden would be doing it to solidify power within the People. Basically he would gain power to diffuse it. That's why I called him the Sacrificial Lamb.

There will always be populous movements and a desire to concentrate power within the elites. But we can make it more difficult to do so.

You say this as if the next Republican president won't do this.

The best way to fix this is with Biden being the sacrificial lamb.

Basically he executes Trump via executive order, executes the conservative justices, all standing Republicans in the Senate. Then get enough states to pass referendums for a constitutional convention.

Do the overhaul of the constitution, solidifying human rights, separation of church from state, making fascism treason, make billionaires illegal, and, for kicks, universal healthcare.

Hey, don't wake me up from this dream, okay?

It's just more proof billionaires simply cannot spend the money they have accumulated.

They need to be guillotined.

I've been searching around for a copy of the Resolute Letter that Trump left for Biden. The letters are typically released within a few days of entering office but this was never done because Biden wanted to talk to Trump first before doing so.

It's been almost four years. Surely it's been done by now and I can't seem to find any article with the letter or anything on the official White House website. I'm tempted to submit a FOIA request for it but wasn't sure where to start.

fmovies has been gone almost a month. I should have added "FBI" up there but really they used FBI to shoot down the service, not be like them.

I don't understand when these companies are going to learn that sharing their IP is going to get them more money than being so fractured.

I started using sudo-lol and seems okay. Streaming can be hinky at times but it works for most of the things I want to watch.

I know that torrenting can be a thing but sometimes I just want to watch and not deal with a whole finding a torrent, download, and then watch workflow.

I know it occasionally has service disruptions, but it usually comes back up after a day or so. Fmovies has been down for almost the entire week for me.

Anyone else having issues?
