No everything has to be serious at all times and we cannot find any humor in the absurdity of hell world.

The last time I smiled was on August 19th, 1991.

I wear a dirty ushanka at all times, do not shave, and only take cold sponge baths because hot running water is bourgeoisie decadence.

Every day at exactly noon I have the same meal of an expired Maoist MRE I store in a pit covered in old issues of a revolutionary newspaper.

I sleep in a bed made of flags from every failed revolution so that they are never forgotten.

In the evenings I stare at a picture of vodka by candlelight, but I do not allow myself to drink because there is nothing to celebrate.

Every local org has banned me after I attempted to split it by assassinating the leadership.

There is no plumbing in my house I shit in a brass bucket with a picture of Gonzalo and Deng french kissing in the bottom of it.

My house is actually an overturned T34 in an abandoned junkyard in Wisconsin.

I have a single friend in this world and it is a tapeworm named Bordiga that I met after ingesting spoiled borscht on 9/11 in the ruins of building 7 (I blew it up after finding that a nominally leftist NGO inside of it wasn’t sufficiently anti-imperialist, the attacks on the world trade center were a perfect revolutionary moment for me to enact direct praxis against liberalism).

My source of income is various MLM schemes in the former soviet bloc that have been running for so long no one remembers who I am, they just keep sending money.

I have not paid taxes since McGovern lost the Democratic nomination for president and my faith in electoralism died more brutally than my childhood dog after it got into an entire jar of tylenol.

I own 29 fully automatic rusted kalashnikovs and three crates of ammunition entirely incompatible with them or any other firearms I own.

My double PHD in marxist economics and 18th century Swiss philosophy (required to understand Engels) sits over the fireplace of my home, my fireplace is a salvaged drum from a 1950s washing machine that was recalled for locking children inside of it.

I chose that washing machine model on purpose because I am anti-natalist.

During the latest BLM protests I firebombed a Nikes outlet in the middle of a peaceful candlelit vigil.

William F Buckley and I wrote hatemail to one another for 47 years until my final letter gave him an aneurysm. The only water I drink is from puddles.

George Lucas and I dropped acid together during an MKULTRA southern baptist summer camp and he went on to write the movie Willow about our time together.

The best way to test whether an electrical wire is live is to drool on it and shrimp salad is racist. You can make an IED out of potassium and the instructions are online thanks to Timothy McVey, who was actually a committed antifascist communist slandered by the deep state as part of operation condor.

Every time a liberal files a restraining order against me, I carve a mark into the wall.

I am running out of walls.

When Amerika finally collapses I will be ready to lead the revolution.

I am very smart and people like being around me.

:)

So everyone here that states "Linux isn't political, Linus is" will certainly agree that lemmy isn't political, the developers are.

Right?

RIGHT??

Are you complaining about a government reigning in the worst aspects of video game culture? This is exactly what a government should be doing, regulating an industry that can be extremely addictive if left unchecked.

Another article on the topic

https://www.scmp.com/tech/big-tech/article/3156540/china-vs-video-games-why-beijing-stopped-short-gaming-ban-keeping

"The 2019 regulations also introduced spending limits for children, which have remained unchanged. Players between the ages of 8 and 16 can spend up to 200 yuan per month in a game and those between 16 and 18 years old can spend up to 400 yuan."

"Also, while the time restrictions apply to all types of video games, not all games are created equal in the eyes of authorities. Two super genres of games have emerged in China based in part on government preferences: danji and wangluo.

Danji means single device, but the term is used for any game that does not need an internet connection (these titles can still be played with other people online). Wangluo means internet games, or those that require a server to be played such as massively multiplayer online role-playing games like World of Warcraft.

The main difference where the government is concerned is that wangluo games are considered addictive while danji games are considered athletic, according to Szablewicz, a distinction that aligns with China’s esports ambitions but that does not appear as relevant in the mobile age. The Chinese government officially labelled dianzi jingji, or esports, as the country’s 99th professional competitive sport in 2003."

not the greatest fix but blocking the porn accounts and building a decent sized follow list along with following specific photo tags allowed me to create a great home feed.

Destruction of the column of the Armed Forces of Ukraine with Leopard 2 tanks A column of about 10 tanks, armored personnel carriers and infantry fighting vehicles advanced on Russian positions at the Rabotino -Verbovoye line from Malaya Tokmachka, but was stopped by fire from the RF Armed Forces.

Part of the equipment was blown up by mines and was abandoned by the crews. Others were hit by artillery and ATGM crews in forest plantations along country roads and in fields. Coordinates: However, yesterday’s unsuccessful UAF attack is especially noteworthy in that at least two German Leopard 2A4 tanks took part in it. This is the first objective evidence

combat use of vehicles of this type by Ukrainian formations.

The quality of the photos from the UAV camera does not allow us to determine whether they were destroyed or damaged. However, some pictures show that the tanks are standing in the field side by side with other vehicles blown up by mines: with a certain probability, at least one of the Leopards was indeed put out of action. Yeah that makes sense, we will be able to get more up to date information after the relaunch

In the thread there is sourcing from frontline reporters, and I'm not going to get into a semantic discussion on what the word "news" means, if the mods don't think it is "newsworthy" they'll remove it, your comments come off as a bad faith method to try and attack a perspective you don't agree with.
