Check out these pictures of Raqqa after US and NATO bomblngs freed them for democracy. 70-80% of buildings were destroyed. The "official" UN civilian death toll is listed as 4,118 but some estimates say the number could be 10x higher as the city lacks the resources to sift through the rubble. https://www.boredpanda.com/before-after-war-photos-aleppo-syria/?utm_source=duckduckgo&utm_medium=referral&utm_campaign=organic

They'll blame it on Julian Assange.

How does the SEC continually ignore him manipulating stock prices through twitter? Another government agency made toothless to protect the rich.

Is cynicism something that should be avoided? I view cynicism as a healthy need to always question authority, the status quo, and majority opinion.

Tories and Labour have the NHS right where they want it.

Chelsea (Bradley) Manning went to prison for exposing the US targeting and murder of journalists. Any reason to think they would care one iota about a journalist being killed anywhere? Jamal Khashoggi worked for the Washington Post and the US government did squat when the Saudis dismembered him.

The AIs probably have higher moral standards than most human hedgefund managers.

I hope China adds help with the transition to Linux to their Belt and Road initiative as a lot of lesser developed countries could really benefit from dumping proprietary software and building a homegrown IT sector.

I watched Bangladeshi women and preteens offloading barges full of bricks by hand from sun-up to sunset. It was cheaper for the company owner to hire all those people than build a conveyor.

No worries, Biden will give them a $10b government contract to make up the profit loss like he did for Amazon. Nobody loves union busting like Joebama.
