More of the same very slow escalation

What I’m getting from this is that the AMOC at some point as it loses stability is going to pop quickly from its current state into another stable state. That as opposed to it just slowly declining forever. Because of this the pop might catch us off guard.

Let me know if you have a different interpretation. It’s not the densest science, but it’s still pretty dense for me.

He has said that the song is as if he were writing from the perspective of a character.

In the context of his larger body of work which constantly points the spotlight on the different types of predators in society I think it’s reasonable to assume that it is another critique. Personally for me it evokes a Hollywood director who prefers child stars or a fashion exec eagerly producing booty shorts for children.

The way the song sounds it is very clear that he thinks of this person as a villain.

Tbh why doesn’t the Canadian military do more often? It’s not like they do anything otherwise.

It’s already mainstream compared to 2010-2014. I wish I could go back to being a fringe crazy person yelling about clarthate guns

Sounds like a nice break

This was honestly one of the key things in my head that made the EU better than the US. That they protect their citizens and nature at least so far as to ban toxic chemicals. Neoliberal society really just drops the ball when things get tough.

Have to have ranked choice voting. You have to make the pasta before boiling it

super smooth, thank you! Reminds me of some of the accompaniment from Astrud Gilberto's albums. If you like this you should try Pink Martini as well. I also have a Hotel Delphino playlist that this is getting added to.

Welcome to the dumbest timeline

Yesterday I tried to explain wet bulb to my family cause they’re outdoorsy and not used to thinking about dangerously hot conditions.

Did not receive the best response but at least they will recognize the term now.

I thought it would be fun to start a cafe playlist thread to see if I could find some new artists.
