I think the best outcome of the ongoing Reddit corporate trashfire would be if each subreddit mod team opened their own Kbin server for supporting and migrating their community, running their way. #RedditMigration#Reddit#Kbin#social#fediverse
I'm finding Kbin more interesting than Lemmy on trying both. I can do all the Lemmy stuff but also follow people, microblog & various other things on Kbin that Lemmy doesn't do. Especially Kbin sees posts from around the Fediverse, Lemmy just sort of only sees thread types and gets no content from most of Fediverse, which seems a bit closed and sad. My feeling is Kbin seems quite a bit more integrated in to the Fediverse. Rapid dev pace is always appealing too. Just my impressions so far.
