Followed up with some more garbage officiating in the Eagles Bills. Missed horsecollar tackle on Allen, Slay getting away with full on tackling guys and obvious jersey tugs before the ball even gets there, even one pretty obvious shoulder check to the face of a defenseless receiver.

I've seen so many ticky tacky jersey tugs that ultimately don't end up affecting the route get called this season its easy to see why people think ref favoritism is going on here, especially juxtaposed with the phantom holds in that Jags game. There were multiple no-calls where the refs are staring directly at the play during the replay, while the announcers are basically just like "How can they keep getting away with this? It's you can't do that".

I think the Eagles had one accepted penalty against them by the fourth quarter. It was absolute madness. Then the refs even call back a potential game sealing fumble despite the receiver securing it and clearly taking two steps before losing the ball.

Even the announcers are bashing the officiating in this Texans Jags game.

"Eh idk I don't see anything there" (on a drive extending defensive holding call where the CB doesn't even touch him; TLaw throws up his hands though and then they throw it)

"That's about the first one I agree with." (Jags finally get a penalty)

"It's these type of plays that have to get really frustrating as a player, as a coach" (replaying a missed false start on the Jags that even Demeco could see from the sideline)

Reminds me of this classic

I think everyone in the league is pretty much in agreement, I mean just look at em. I've never once seen anything but friendly banter towards opposing fans. Definitely no trash throwing or fighting. Most of the fan base seems to take pride in that kind of behavior too. Every team has jackass fans here and there but in Philly it's truly a part of the culture.

If anything last year's run just put em in the spotlight and Eagles fans did the rest

Vikings receivers just throwing themselves on the ground when they feel any contact at all.

My GOD what a throw from Purdy. Silence those haters! Jimmy G makes that throw 0/100 times.

It feels like they have a full script of talking points and they're just getting through the list. Like CMC does punish at the end of a run, but Mitchell is more of a glass cannon type back. It's like they just subbed his name in there for the "punishing run" talking point

This fox broadcast has been terrible lol. Close up of Purdy's face pre snap instead of showing the formations. Penalties called without even a mention, let alone a replay. Talking about Elijah Mitchell's physicality "punishing at the end of the run" as he gets tackled normally by 3 defenders.

At least the Browns are being punished for maybe one of the worst contracts of all time. Sucks that the beneficiary is a rapist though. Turns out Watson is the average-at-best unmotivated piece of shit we all kenew he is. Who could have ever predicted giving him so much guaranteed would bite them in the ass?

I was told this game would be good

It's like they "canceled it out" with an equally bullshit PI call on the next play lol

Nah he'll get just enough wins and hope to keep his job, and keep the Pats in the land of mediocrity for years to come
