People will make scriptures out of any old shit, as long as it agrees with what they already believe.

If you take away the sight and smell, it probably feels alright.

It was recently dropped from 50 to 45 in the US. Was that also done for other countries?

Regardless of improved detection, the most likely explanation is increased obesity rates, which is covered in the article.

Last time I pointed this out, the toxin and micro plastics people blamed chemical exposure for increased obesity. They don't want the Boogeyman to be a fat guy.

Dookie is 30. On the Saviors tour which just ended, Green Day played the Dookie and American Idiot albums in their entirety over about 2.5 hours (plus some bonus songs).

I'm aging myself more by saying I know 4-5 songs from American Idiot but almost all of Dookie.

Why would any school want a Bible that doesn't also have the Declaration and Constitution? It's a perfectly logical requirement, and it's not Trump's fault so few others are making them.

Forty-eight people have so far been confirmed dead after the incident on Monday, which involved two boats that had left Yemen for Djibouti with a total of 310 people onboard, said Frantz Celestin, a regional director at the UN agency. “Unfortunately, we have yet to account for about 108 of the migrants,” he said.

[...]

One boat was carrying 100 people, of whom 99 survived, while the other had 210.

Let's hope some more made it to shore and just didn't stick around, but the second boat has 47 confirmed dead already.

Yes. It should work both ways. Heterosexuals should be protected as much as bisexuals, pansexuals, homosexuals, etc. That's the way the law is intended.

Whether her claims have merit is another story. I am very skeptical, but it is at least possible in principle.

Orientation discrimination has been ruled to be sex discrimination. This gives protection to people in states where orientation is not itself a protected class.

The rationale is that if there is discrimination against a woman for dating other women, that is sex discrimination because a man would not face similar consequences for dating a woman.
