We’re going to go dark! No new posts, no old posts - not until you listen to our demands! Or at least until the weekend is over!

Sugar free soda can have artificial sweeteners that can make ibs way worse. As someone with chronic gut issues, I avoid sugar free soda big time. Your triggers may be different, but I’d suggest going without it for a week or two and seeing how you feel.

Instead I drink carbonated water (and a lot of it). I get the plain water, squeeze a lime in it and add a splash of pure (unsweetened) cranberry juice. It’s better than soda, imo.

I’m in the US and this is how I was taught. We don’t have many roundabouts and most people don’t know how to signal for them (much less use them at all) but that’s what driving schools teach

These inane arguments make me feel at home here. It’s like I never left Reddit <3

There was a subreddit called /r/beansinthings - not sure if this is related. Same kind of posts tbh.

They can serve you ads just fine on mobile web, that’s not it. It’s that the app let’s them track your behavior far better than the web browser.

Reddit is writing their own rules and they’ll rewrite this one to get their way. They’ll just force it back to SFW and remove any mods who undo it.

Safari has the best memory and cpu footprint. Kind of annoying to use from a developer standpoint - so many of the FF/Chrome extensions that people rely upon don’t exist.

When I’m just browsing, I use safari. When I’m doing work, it’s FF.

But I can’t reply to a Lemmy post from kbin, right?
