this is a game from the same developer as The Messenger, I really like The Messenger, especially the humour, I just wish at least they bring that humour in Sea of Stars as well

Zedge comes to mind. A site for buying ringtones (among other things like notification tones and wallpapers) or at least barred you from downloading the "premium" ones without subscription.

This won't work on android because changing icon is trivial lmao

Features I Need :

  • Totally offline
  • Quick note taking, I can just tap "New" and immediately write my note
  • Can save without title
  • Auto save the note after pressing 'back'
  • Tags or notebook/folder for categorization
  • Can export to other format like txt or pdf.

Features I want (but don't need) :

  • PIN or biometric for opening the app
  • Support markdown
  • Automatically set creation date as title

Features I don't need nor want :

  • Online sync/backup
  • Attaching media (images/sound/etc.)
  • Any other online services (AI/assistant/integration with calendar/spellcheck/etc.)

Features I need:

  • Quick note taking, I can just tap "New" and begin writing, can save even without titles, and automatically save when pressing 'back'
  • Tags or "notebook"/folder style categorization
  • Ability to export to files like .txt or .pdf

Features I want (but don't need):

  • Markdown support
  • PIN or biometric for protecting the app
  • Automatically make the creation date as title.

Features I don't really need nor want:

  • Online sync/backup

Upnote is really close to what I'm looking for, but I really can't afford any subscription right now, the lifetime price is a bit steep (I'm not doing too good financially, though I can do for something a bit cheaper) and their free plan limit me to just 50 notes...

I mean, when asked for something like this and the quick answer was Everything, you'd wonder if the OP meant the voidtools' file search software 'Everything' or just... everything. At least provide a quick explanation of the usage, 1 sentence is usually enough.

For now, I can only visit a community from another server by searching or opening a post from that server, if I open it in the post's original server or if I open their site, I'll be in another lemmy instance and I'll have no account there, so I can't really interact.

So, I'm curious if is there a way for me to browse lemmy.ml for example (or other servers) and see all the trending posts there or browse their communities without me leaving lemmy.world

Basically, looking for a way to turn my current instance to be like a "window" that I can use to look into another instances.

Lemmy and Kbin is more forum-like or reddit-like in its discussion form while Mastodon is more twitter-like or microblogging

While I know that Lemmy can see Kbin and vice versa, does this also extend to Mastodon and Pixelfed?

Can I see Mastodon and Pixelfed content in Lemmy/Kbin ? and the other way around as well ? (see Lemmy and Kbin content through Mastodon or Pixelfed)

I'm curious on how it works (as a layman), because on Mastodon you follow people/users not communities.
