Is there an easy way to block or filter communities? (lemmy.world)

I'm coming from Connect and there's a way to block communities or even entire instances directly from seeing it on the Everything page. When the feed reloads it removes either from your view.

Is there something like this in Sync? I know in Sync for Reddit, could filter out posts and subreddits by keyword, but where Lemmy is so much more vast than this, it would be nice to be able to quickly remove things you are not interested in as you go.

Anyone know how this can be done or is this a feature request?

Settings shortcut: Settings > Filters

Yeah but I wish that instead of remembering what communities and instances you want to filter, you can add them as you encounter them directly from the feed.

You can press the three dot menu and filter on any post or comment.

The term in Sync is Filter in the post options, Block in the community options

Hit the three dots on the post, and then look at the bottom of the menu. There's a Filter..., hit that.
