I'm not a fan of the new pricing, but the privacy stuff seems to be more or less the same as Sync for Reddit (correct me if I'm wrong).

Of course, people can argue things can be better, but it doesn't seem much has changed in this department.

If you like Sync use it. If not use any of the other alternatives

Yeah. Personally, I am willing to pay for the current price of Lifetime Sync Ultra, but the problem is the majority of my interest communities are still not here. I don't use Lemmy all that much currently even if I wanted to.

I will likely keep using the free version of Sync in the meantime and keep tabs on Lemmy's gradual growth.

Yeah seems like reddit users don't really care. But a large portion of Lemmy users are into FOSS and privacy.
