Santa Claus Conquers The Martians (1964) on Tubi

This is what my brothers and I consider the weirdest Christmas movie of all time.

It's has some three stooges comedy, children working longing to work the factory, and a delightfully festive and unhinged plot, and is a scathing review of what the 1960's thought the future could be.

P.S. There's also a Rifftrax version which I have not seen.

P.P.S the movie is in the public domain!

my favourite part was the hilariously inconsistent and terrible makeup for the martians. i swear, its like they filmed all the scenes in a random order in one sweaty afternoon with no breaks to touch it up.

I was laughing early on when one of their moustaches was falling off

We watch this every year. Its awful.

Also, not only is there a Rifftrax version, It's also an episode of MST3K, and Cinema Titanic did it as well

It's such a weird movie, but so are all the Christmas movies from around this time. This one really is the Christmas equivalent of Manos: Hands of Fate.

I watch the MST3K version every Christmas Eve!

Oh yeah, I know this one. Didn't Austin McConnel talk about it? Watching this with my friends as soon as possible.

My sister and I used to watch this all the time, not even just during Christmas. It was so weird. Haven't seen it in years, I'll have to give it another watch!
