Original Title: The new somber? Kirk McConnell is asked how it felt hearing first hand witnesses: "Shock... reeling, hard to sleep at night, for a good while. Very serious, very sobering. Its a burden to me, it feels lonely, makes you wonder what the future holds. Those who accept the reality of this... holy god"

In the Live AMA on youtube, James Fox asks a question (timestamp 41:15) to Kirk McConnell, who was present during whistleblower testimonies in Congress in classified (not public) settings:

James Fox: Without violating any security clearances, or classified details, could you put us in the room with first hand witnesses and describe what it felt like. And what the expression of the Senators were that may have been there? What was the atmosphere like?

Kirk McConnell: ...shock, and kind of reeling. Its a very tough thing to get your mind around. And to be confronted with it, you know, coming from a person who you find credible based on their credentials and clearances and background.

Kirk McConnell: It certainly, it makes it hard to go to sleep at night. For a good while.
