Original Title: How stupid do they view the American public with regards to the NJ drones? The FBI has nothing to do with securing our airspace. Why bring them in to do some "aw shucks nobody knows" BS. How come the PENTAGON or FAA isn't answering questions about them?

The White House and Pentagon seemingly views the American people as stupid enough to believe that:

  • Despite the fact that in a post 9/11 world, as much as a Cessna doing an undeclared flight in NJ/NY coastal airspace would trigger F-18 escorts, that our military and the FAA is allowing just a bunch of slow, regular drones to constantly violate some of our most secure airspace.
  • That these "unknown" aircraft are also obeying FAA regulations on safety light colors.
  • That officials somehow simultaneously know they "pose no threat" yet still "don't know what they are". The most absurd of the seemingly unecessary lies.
  • That despite dozens of large "unknown drones" flying around densely populated airspace near airports, they haven't grounded any flights at any airports.
  • Most absurdly, that we don't immediately see a lack of clear statement from the Pentagon as a clear obvious sign of Pentagon involvement.
