The theory that they choose not to engage the drones because they are over people’s homes does not add up any more. The coast guard in NJ reported being tailed by 12-30 of these things.
Like many others have stated it’s embarrassing. Our foreign adversaries are likely drooling over how much of a nothing burger our homeland defense is. Unless they know exactly what they are and are choosing not to engage for a different reason, we really aren’t showing much capacity to protect our own soil.
