If you were thinking of reading the article, know first that the picture of the diamond shown above is bullshit. This process can only produce microscopic films of diamond.

They’ve been using industrial diamonds for decades, they would be more expensive if they were using natural.

That ended when people realized about blood-diamonds. But this should certainly accelerate their downfall.
