A composite cable, given to me by someone else. I don't see a brand.

After looking it up, this is definitely not the Microsoft one. Has similar moulding to like, the first results on Amazon and AliExpress.

That's likely the issue. If it's plug directly into the tv and is still having issues it's probably because it's a low quality cable. Unfortunately I have no idea where you would get an original one.
