I'm mentally preparing myself to be disappointed by danny not instantly rocketing that alpha tractor to P1. I know it's not going to happen, I know nobody can expect something as ridiculous as that, but my heart cannot help but hope and be hyped

How will he do vs Tsunoda though?

[โ€“] fiah@discuss.tchncs.de 9 points 1 year ago (1 children)

no idea really, that depends so much on how the car works for him. Though I'm afraid it won't go well for the first few races because of how late he likes to brake and how shit the brakes supposedly are on the AT

I read somewhere that he likes to brake earlier and trails into the corner. The McLaren last year had to be driven hard into the corner and thus needs to brake really late which suited Norris better than Ric.

Alpha Tauri is terrible, so I can't expect him to do much but he should beat Yuki in a couple of races. Otherwise, it'll be a disappointment.

@Darkhoof @bwoah
Yuki is doing fairly well right now (technical limitations kept in mind), and DR hasn't raced in six months. I wouldn't expect him to be in good right off the bat.

Hence, why I said two races... It's Ricciardo. There's a lot of hype around him, so if he fails to live up to it fast, you will start to see people say his return is a disappointment.

It's Rawe Ceek Daniel, come on!

He's my favorite driver, and I wish him all the success in the world... But.... I really don't see this going well. Hopefully it's just temporary until next season and we will see him back in the big bull.

Not quite the point, but this is the first time that I've found out some proper news from Lemmy first. So that's pretty cool.
