Early access shouldn't be for games still in alpha state. Closer to beta is when it should be used.

Aren't most games these days released in beta state? I can't remember the last time I played a game that didn't takes weeks and even months of updates for the game to be free from technical issues, bugs or missing content.

All because the average gamer is willing to pay full price for 'early access' and will probably never revisit the game 6 months or 1 year after launched to play the finished product.
