SNES was my happy place when I was growing up. I would be beyond happy if it was supported again. I mean, it won’t be, but it’s nice to dream.

And despite still having the console here with me I will still emulate it!

You monster.

Think of all the shareholders that won't be getting a slightly bigger return on their investment because you didn't buy two consoles!

i'm confused, the first panel says Nintendo will be launching new games for the greatest console of all time but the second panel doesn't have a picture of the Tiger Electronics R-Zone? what gives?

They already made Chrono Trigger 2, but I won't blame you for forgetting it.

Chrono Trigger 2

Akira Toriyama is dead

Yeah, nah

True, no one could replace the master. But in terms of art and style, Toriyama has already given his blessing to the artist Toyotarou.

If Nintendo actually gave a shit about their customers, they'd release all their games on GOG. Don't hold your breath waiting for that to happen.

Well Nintendo only makes money at this point on Nintendo developed properties, so if you mean Mario, then maybe. At the very least, they'd release a locked down emulation platform in an easily accessible format or something instead of needing to buy these mini consoles. A $20 retro controller and output cable for your phone to hook up to a TV or monitor would be a good start.

Nintendo later sued the man for IP infringement with his dream.

There was a sequel to Chrono Trigger, and it released on the SNES.

...Sort of.

The SNES wasn't even the greatest console available at the time of its release.

Depends on how you define greatest.

There were more powerful consoles, but there weren't a lot of TurboGrafx (is that the right era?) customers, and there weren't a lot of games coming out for it. The SNES had a constant stream of the best (and many of the worst) games in every genre
