Israel thinks they can just do anything they want. Eventually they are going to run into big trouble. We need to lower their supply of weapons before we get dragged into a nightmare.

It's incredible how supporting Israel was about "securing an ally in the region to avoid another major armed conflict in the middle east", and has now turned into Israel dragging the US into another major conflict in the middle east. It's either US foreign policy officials didn't learn anything from the past dozen conflicts or they literally want this to happen every time.

US officials know Israel is full of shit, but if they stand up for what's right, they'll piss off the AIPAC, and will almost certainly be ousted the following election cycle. The AIPAC is easily one of the most powerful lobbying groups in the US, and have no problem slushing a candidate with cash to oppose one who even thinks of criticizing Israel.

I legitimately have no clue what the state department is doing or thinks it's doing. This isn't even good for money since now they can't sell arms to quite a few nations because those weapons will immediately be spent on Israel. And they can't send too much to Israel because it looks even worse and every dollar they send costs political will. Its dumb.

They're making money off of war and it's obvious.

Have you considered that what they are doing is supporting Israel, not for any justification they provide, but because they genuinely, ideologically agree with what is being done?

Based on some recent posts as well as just what's been going on there are plenty of people in the federal government who think this is just great. Which is disgusting and the dumbest shit imaginable.

Its destabilizing places for the sake of it this isn't even an efficient way to kill people, make money, or get political influence so I cannot for the life of me understand what is going on at this point.

At this point, Joe Biden must really want aiding genocide and war crimes to be his legacy

Pretty much every modern president tbh.

If the Nuremberg laws were applied, then every post-war American president would have been hanged.
