Well yeah, that's the whole point of an upgrade!

Snarkiness aside, I'm fully on board the McLaren hype train. The upgraded suspension should improve race pace apparently.

Lol. I love how 2 months ago we were all in the Aston Martin hype train and in 1 day it's like "Aston who?".

BTW, I'm fully on board the McLaren hype train now. The Ferrari hype train derailed and exploded a long time ago :(

Aren't Silverstone and Hungaroring 2 of the fast paced tracks that suit the McLaren package? They were better there last year as well, but were still falling behind the rest of the season, albeit in big part due to Ric not showing up.

I want to believe, but I think we will only have an overall grasp at the improvement after Belgium/Netherlands

The hungaroring is one of the slowest tracks and might have been the old mclaren’s strength because it previously had bad aero efficiency, but that would have made it worse at silverstone with its long straights and high speed corners.
