After a year’s worth of random life stuff I finally feel I’m getting somewhere on my WL. Since October 2023 I had a stage 0 breast cancer diagnosis, a high stakes job interview, switched jobs, and finally dealt with a nagging low back/hip pain when going heavy.

In the past few weeks I’ve put on 7 kilos on my split jerk, and I just added 6 kilos to my back squat. I had no significant gains in the squat since late 2022.

I’m sharing because it finally feels like I’m improving. I’ve been weightlifting since 2021, started with crossfit in 2019. The back pain is being addressed by working with a chiropractor who specializes in sports related conditioning and training. 😍
