As for making a community, I’d say to make a separate one. AnimeSuggest got swamped with requests, with a lot of them being repetitive in nature. A good chunk of those were due to new people, both to Reddit and/or Anime but still.

When/if Lemmy gets something akin to AutoModerator, I can provide the numerous rules and filters that were in place to keep it running.

I feel like folding it into the currently existing community is probably better...at least for the time being.

Just post it here. One large community is better than multiple inactive one's

We have !animesuggest@ani.social but it's kind of empty (be the change you wish to see or something!). It needs a new moderator though because admittedly, I won't be able to take care of all the communities here at ani.social.

You can just ask for suggestions here. Alternatively, you could try this community and see if there's any activity: !animesuggest@ani.social
