"Sewing said that EU citizens work about 34 hours a week on average compared with about 28 hours in Germany."

So the real take away here is the other EU citizens are working too hard.

The austerity will continue until morale improves.

Why? I get paid the same. I have no incentive to work harder or longer. Why don’t you work harder or longer for a change? Practice what you preach.

I said it before and I’ll say it again: we need to work harder so that this asshole can buy his 2nd yacht. Have some compassion.

Companies rake in record wins every year, and they still pay measly loans and treat workers as if they were expandables - an attitude still carrying over from the 1980s when unemployment was high in Germany and bosses made sure you rely felt your dependence on them.

So why work more when I get nothing out of it? Those greedy assholes can get fucked. Seriously.

For any EU citizen I can recommend to sign the official petition to the European Commission — so that billionaires can finally contribute their fair share to society: https://www.tax-the-rich.eu
