I'm considering buying it on PS5 but I'm wondering how it plays on a controller. Is it exactly the same as Diablo 4? How do you aim teleports, curses and everything else?

Pretty much the same as D4. Before the UI revamp on PC I played it exclusively with a controller. Being able to map abilities to face buttons fundamentally changed the game, no more having to piano f* keys to swap things around.

I played it a bit on the switch. It’s mostly good. Moving shit around in inventory is super tedious (not really a thing in 3 or 4), and it’s hard to aim teleports like you mentioned. I read that some builds like trapsin are unplayable because of the aiming thing but have not tried it myself.

Thanks guys for your helpful explanations!

Additionally I found a video comparing the differences between PC and console (on some weak Xbox) in beta that also shed a lot of light on the subject. I'm assuming the final release looks better on PS5.

Most importantly, I've read online that there's also a Performance Mode that allows to run the game at 60 FPS on PS5, which is a relief because w/o 60 FPS I wouldn't even buy it.

Looks like I'm returning to Sanctuary shortly 😈
