All I want on this Earth is a FOSS alternative to Niagara launcher. I love a simple icon/list launcher but Niagaras permission requirements are unsettling. Kvaesitso is great, and easily the most polished FOSS launcher I've used, but just doesn't quite hit that mark for me. The closest I've found is Plasma Mobile, but I don't feel like setting up halium just for a launcher.

My problem with it is that I have many different apps I launch. If I launched 10 or less apps regularly I would use it daily.

Fyi you can add as many as you want to your favourites. And even without that, I found scrolling through with the alphabetical sidebar to be super fast. Definitely not for everyone tho

Thanks, good to know.

Yeah, same. There are some alternatives to Niagara that get close but none are as good. Currently I've given up on phone customisations and switched to Olauncher with a plain black wallpaper.

Oh wow ! That's beautiful ! I like the color scheme !!!

If you don't mind and have time, could you give some hints/share how you achieved that desktop design?

I'm on EndeavourOS with XFCE.

Edit: I'm relatively new to arch but I can find my way arround with some bread crums :p

The colorscheme I am using is Tokyo night storm. GTK theme and icons are in AUR. However for icons I use themix (from aur) and suru++ aspromauros (also in aur) to creat the icons

For xfce4-terminal use an existing template like https://github.com/catppuccin/xfce4-terminal/blob/main/themes/catppuccin-mocha.theme and change the colors

you could rinse and repeat this for any app you want to style

TokyoNight Storm on Qtile? Did you read my mind? I was planning on a switch to this colourscheme for about a week!
