My daily is the kb below. Keychron C1, Fekker Panda switches, foam mod, o-rings, GSA keycaps.

Nothing special, but a very pleasant typing experience.

The above kb is a Moergo Glove80. I'm still getting used to it, so it's not my daily.

How’s your experience with Glove80?

I am unsure of using low profile switches and keycaps. One of the driving reasons being I would be unable to use my existing keycap sets and switches.

Does the use of low profile switches translate well to a split keyboard?

I generally only use a computer (and, therefore, a physical keyboard) for work. Since I can't constantly allow myself to be super slow at typing, my advancement with the G80 has been slow going. However, because the travel is super short when compared to standard switches, I can tell that I'm typing faster than I would have had it used mx. I am still bummed I can't use my current caps, but am no longer bummed at the switch incompatibility. I have seen 3D printed converters to allow the use of mx caps on the chocc switches, but really want to get used to the G80 stock before modifying anything.

That’s interesting. Do you think using converters on choc switches would hamper their durability? Or is the impact negligible?

I wouldn't imagine it would harm anything if we're not rough with pulling them off. Just being on there shouldn't do any damage. I hope not, because I do plan to get some once I'm used to stock.

How do you feel about the Keychron build quality? I just ordered one of the Q5 Pros to have a hotswap/knob board.

Really wanted to snag a Wind x98 kit awhile back, but didn’t have the money (or time) to get one of the kits.
