You definitely need to see them in person. Pictures and videos don't do them justice.
That's a nice shot.
Thanks! They were insanely active that night.
What gear were you using? Love the shot!
Thank you!! I'd have to pull up the RAW for the complete specs, but I shoot with a Nikon D3400. This shot was probably taken using my wide angle lens.
Very cool! Haven't had much hands on with Nikon.
I do like it, but if I were to get something new I'd probably switch to Sony if I'm being honest. Nikon is okay but their software has always felt like it's lacking. Their apps for transferring files from camera to phone are very outdated, and having a camera that allows me to remote shoot using my phone would be really nice to have.
Definitely go with Sony in my opinion. I recently got the a7iii and I love it dearly. I mostly do video work though. Eventually I'll upgrade to the fx3, better suited for filming.
Good to hear you like it! I will definitely make the switch to Sony if I ever get the money to do it haha
My bank account hates me right now lol
Very cool! How long was the exposure? Did you camp out?
Beautiful, one thing i will always miss about medicine hat area is the sky, so open and beautiful.
