Genuinely yes. I was just saying that I'll get a used cheap pixel 6 for Graphene OS and then get a nice flagship when they add desktop mode.
Maybe they think they have the one up on Apple this year and want to lead rather than follow.. I hope it is something exciting, even though I am an iPhone user. Any innovation is great though I am guessing it will be AI related
I personally wouldn't expect massive innovation.
Smartphones have been around for ~20 years, it's a very mature product category.
"AI" tech does have potential in the smartphone space, but I thing the useful use cases are going to overshadowed by the hype.
Is the Pixel Fold 2 off the table? Doesn't seem like that really took off as they wanted it to.
