I think the rumors about this one guy cheating by allegedly putting something up his ass really resonated with a new generation.
Resonated with him too, if you know what I mean.
I'm a big fan of Magnus. Dude is overall a good role model, respectful and serious most of the time, while also being meme-ey, approachable and fun. Unique playstyle to boot.
He's actually largely responsible for me personally starting to pay attention to the game again. I hadn't even played in years.

Okay, fair enough, I can see there being some transferrable skills.
It's been pretty incredible. He started from absolutely nothing, just ground the everliving hell out of the game, and after a year he's... good.
