What steps can be taken when there are no seeders available for a torrent? Are there alternative websites, aside from YTS.mx and 1337x, that are reliable for discovering movies?

Enable DHT on your tlrrent client, I did no long ago and really improves with not very popular torrents

Correct answer. And this is going to help way more than adding a few trackers. Also consider doing the port-forward in your router, if you're behind a NAT and it doesn't do it automatically. That makes even more peers available.

You cand try adding more trackers to your torrent

I don't want to create a torrent; I'm simply looking for the English version of a movie.

That's not what this is. You can download a supposedly dead torrent, add more trackers that might have peers available for that torrent to it, and re-add the modified torrent to your client.

Most clients support adding trackers directly.

True. Might be easier to just drop a bunch of torrents to the website though.

That's awesome, thanks!

Is there a list for pure i2p trackers?

In my client (Transmission) you can double click any torrent to open an extra windows with various details. There you find a tab "trackers" and at the bottom an option to add trackers. Then I can just copy-paste in the entire list.

Depending on your client, you may be able to add the list to an area of your settings titled, "add these trackers to all torrents" (or similar, it's late and I'm in bed) and save some time.

SolidTorrents is a pretty good aggregator. You can also search on non-English sites (I use Korean ones).
