I presented exactly the same evidence you did. your appeal to ridicule does not support your position or undermine my own.
The tense is wrong. agriculture affected deforestation, but now deforestation is in decline. we reached a peak deforestation about 10 years ago I think.
It's only lower in the countries that have the privilege of exporting their livestock to countries where its expanding massively.
It being lower now doesn't make it past tense.
I'm sure the orangutans of the world are very comforted that you believe deforestation is a thing of the past.
